We are working with a major Construction organisation who have a multi million development in Manchester, they are looking to recruit a Building Services Manager for this project and other major contracts in the Northwest region.

The role with be to oversee all the Building Services within the project working with the Engineering Manager/Project Manager and Mechanical & Electrical sub contractors.

Assisting with the selection of sub-contractors to tender from the supply chain.
Responsible for Assisting with the management of the commissioning process and compliance of as built and maintenance manuals.
Collate the team project reports and provide a summary report to the relevant director relating to the projects that you are aligned to.
Work closely with Design Teams to assist in Design Management of specific M&E Packages
Review technical submittals from sub-contractors and provide input to bids / pre construction/ project teams.
Manage co-ordination of M&E Services on sites in conjunction with day to day project delivery team
Checking quality of installations by sub contractors on site
Manage commissioning and sign off BS systems.

Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline to appropriate level (Degree, NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE)
Strong technical knowledge of M&E Design and Installations,
Delivery of large Building Services packages valued 5M +
Good understanding of full building services - Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC systems
Experience working within a main contracting environment, managing specialist sub contract partners.
Experience of working on projects from tender / pre construction through to delivery and handover
