The role:

• Required to undertake surveys of council homes & other assets and assessing them against the decent home standard and housing health and safety rating system.
• To undertake audits and spot checks as required on the stock condition surveys undertaken & data received by consultants,to ensure consistency of assessments.
• Based on findings from surveys, make recommendations on the structural soundness of housing stock and its key building components.

Key Skills and experience:

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have a car available for use during work hours
• Ability to assess properties against the decent home standard and HHSRS.
• A proven track record of carrying out detailed property surveys and producing reports on remedial works and to draw up costed schedules of works.
