Independent Prescriber - GP Surgery - Remote

Hunter AHP are looking for a fantastic qualified Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to work with our GP surgery client located in Kent but on a fully remote basis!

• Job Title: Locum Pharmacist Independent Prescriber
• Location: REMOTE work on offer
• Duration: 8 - 12 weeks initially, view to extend
• Schedule: 3 - 4 weekdays per week. Hours either 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP (mid-late October 2024)
• Rate of pay: £31 - £38 per hour via Ltd Co, depending on prior experience
• Pay method - via Limited Company, or via Umbrella PAYE
• Experience required - ideally you will have completed the CPPE pathway, although strong candidates without this will be considered. Independent Prescribing qualification is a must. Prior GP surgery experience also required. EMIS Web experience also ideal here.

Day to day working duties:

As a specialist Independent Prescribing Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role assisting the GP surgery with medications reviews, with occasional support to the wider team with medication related administrative task (discharges and queries). Working remotely, ideally you will already have your own laptop set up to from from home, with knowledge of using EMIS.

• Prior GP Surgery experience required
• Med reviews role.
• Other admin related tasks will be required
• Liaising with the nursers and doctors within the wider PCN via MSTeams
• EMIS Web experience ideal

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Working hours and contract duration:

This position will require you to work 3-4 weekdays per week, starting ASAP, for a period of between 8 - 12 weeks, with a view to extend.
