About the role:

GSL Education Manchester are currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in Diggle, OL3.

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant who will inspire the next generation of young people. The role is supporting individuals in year 1 so you will need to have a good understanding of phonics.

About the School

The successful Level 2 teaching assistant will be working as part of a small team across Key stage 1. We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant who is confident working with young people independently and has a proactive approach.

The successful candidate will need to have the following:

- A level 2 teaching assistant qualification

- Must have previous experience within a school (must be able to get a reference off the school)

- Have a confident and proactive approach with young learners

- Able to lead intervention programmes independently

- Support small groups of learners confidently

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding

and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
