ADAS, part of RSK Group, is seeking Senor/Principal Ecologists to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be hybrid, with travel to our Bristol office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as a team with our existing ecologists to ensure quality projects are delivered on time to our clients.
  • Managing projects from inception to finalisation.
  • Talking to our clients and providing solid technical advice.
  • Helping to manage the team and develop our junior ecologist’s knowledge and skills.
  • Writing of technical reports including but not limited to, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, Mitigation Strategies and Biodiversity Management Plans, Habitats Regulations Assessments Screening reports and protected species reports.
  • Technical review and approval of reports.

Person Specification

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Graduate level education in a relevant subject.
  • One protected species licence.
  • Experience of Biodiversity Net Gain assessment and UKHAB.
  • Strong botanical skills (e.g NVC, Condition Assessments) (desirable).
  • Associate Level CIEEM membership or above.
