Salary:Up to £45,000 dependant on experience

Work Life Balance:Hybrid, 2 days per week at our Northampton or Londonoffice

The Role:

As the Social Content Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing compelling social media content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand objectives. Working across our various brands you'll work across all marketing channels and be the driving force that helps Staysure become a household brand name.

What will you do?

Content Strategy:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Define key messaging pillars and content themes to guide content creation efforts across all social platforms.
• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring content is scheduled and published according to the editorial calendar and promotional calendar.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media content aligns with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Content Creation:

  • Lead the creation and curation of high quality, engaging and original social media content, including but not limited to images, videos, graphics, and written posts across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
  • Work with offshore content editors, to brief, review, edit and guide content output.


Community Management:
• Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, comments, and messages, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
• Foster a sense of community and engagement among our social media followers by initiating and participating in conversations.

Performance Reporting:

• Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Generate regular reports and insights to share with key stakeholders and inform social media strategy and decision-making.

Essentials:

  • Experience working with social media and social content
  • Impeccable understanding of grammar and style
  • A portfolio of content creation which demonstrates imagination, creativity and flare
  • Strong experience in social media marketing, content marketing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and best practice
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar

Bonus skills you may pack in your suitcase:

  • Experience within the insurance industry (if you've worked in travel, even better!) or similar sector experience, although an eagerness to improve your knowledge of our industry will bode well.
