Our client Based on the Outskirts of the Telford is looking to recruit a Skilled CNC Setter Operator. This is a permanent role in a growing, friendly and supportive Engineering company. This company produces a range of components for niche sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either CNC Milling, CNC Turning or Manual machining. Some training can be given to the right candidate.

CNC Setter Operator

• Setting and Operating CNC Machines
• An ability to read customer drawings and interpret customer requirements is essential.
• Experience of programming is an advantage but not essential, with onsite training allowing development.
• Competent in use of measuring equipment
• An ability to edit programs is advantageous
• Setting and operating machine tools to drawing specification
• Identify improvements in the processes where required
• Perform routine maintenance on machines

CNC Setter Operator Job details

• 15.50 per hour
• Permanent
• 39 hour week
• Days based role Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times/ early finish Friday
• Overtime paid at a premium x1.5
• Pension scheme
