An exciting opportunity has now become available for a Health Safety and Wellbeing Assistant to join our friendly and busy team.

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing team delivers support and advice to approximately 300 services across the city of Plymouth, working closely with Facilities Management colleagues across our properties, city and foreshore to ensure compliance.

From waste management and collection, to our City Farm and the Mount Edgecumbe estate, we are on hand to help keep our staff safe in all that they do

The essential aspects of the role will include:·    

  • Supporting the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Management systems
  • Working with the team on a variety of activities to deliver HSW advice, policies, processes and procedures.
  • Providing clear, consistent, quality administration and data to improve Health, Safety and Wellbeing, including drafting and presenting reports
  • Responsibility for supporting the implementation of Evotix Assure, our electronic Health and Safety Management system, as well as training administration and incident triage.

Knowledge and experience of handling and processing computerised data and information with care, accuracy, confidentiality and security is also a key part of the role.

The post holder will additionally have good understanding of a range of office and digital processes or other service routines, Health, Safety and Wellbeing procedures, policies and processes, although training will be given.

Level 3 IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH National General Certificate or working towards
