Job Requirements/Description

A well established care company that provides support to young people across the West Midlands have vacancies for a Deputy Manager to work in one of their care homes based in the West Midlands. They have the following locations: Cannock, Lichfield, Burton Upon Trent, Wednesbury, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich an Birmingham.

The role of the Residential Deputy Manager is outlined below;

Residential Deputy Manager

  • Salary: 28,000 - 32,000, with the potential to earn up to 35,000+ including bonuses.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assisting the Home Manager in managing daily operations and administrative tasks.
    • Managing the home during the Home Manager's absence.
    • Supervision, appraisal, and training of staff.
    • Ensuring adherence to high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
  • Specific Qualifications and Experience:
    • Proven experience in residential care settings with supervisory or management experience preferred.
    • Essential: Good understanding of relevant regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
    • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent, with an expectation to work towards a Level 5 qualification if not already obtained
