Job Advert: Supply Teaching Assistant (Reception to Year 6) - Haringey

Sanza Teaching Agency is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and diverse primary school in Haringey! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supply Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide flexible cover across Reception to Year 6. This role will also involve 1:1 support for students with special needs, making it a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support across Reception to Year 6, assisting with lessons and activities.
• Deliver 1:1 support for students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
• Assist with planning and delivering interventions, supporting the teacher with the overall learning environment.
• Help manage behaviour in line with the school's policy and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
• Support pupils in both their academic progress and emotional well-being.
• Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to implement EHCPs and IEPs.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting, ideally from Reception to Year 6.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
• Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and provide effective 1:1 support.
• Ability to work well as part of a team, maintaining a positive attitude in a busy and rewarding environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to student engagement.
