Technical Supervisor

Technical Supervisor - South London

We are seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and maintenance services across a key site in South London. In this role, you will manage a team of engineers and sub-contractors, ensuring service delivery meets contractual KPIs, while also overseeing costs to achieve financial targets. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of all mechanical, electrical, and associated maintenance services.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and sub-contractors, handling recruitment, appraisals, and performance management.
• Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual KPIs and financial targets are met.
• Oversee and compile accurate management information/reports for stakeholders.
• Support and participate in site audits, including quality, health and safety, environmental, and financial audits.
• Promote QHSE best practices and ensure consistent standards within the team.
• Provide support, advice, and guidance to engineers and the planning team to optimize resource use.
• Identify and resolve issues that impact first-time fix rates and reduce unnecessary sub-contracting.

Skills & Behaviours:

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams, including performance management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to solve problems pragmatically and work effectively under pressure.
• Highly computer literate, with experience in Microsoft applications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Electrical Qualification C&G Level 3.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, technical estates environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience is essential.

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
