Girling Jones are working with a leading Tier 1 partnership to support their expansion as they prepare for the initiation of AMP8. Seeking new experienced MEICA / MEP staff to be a part of South West Waters clean water projects (non-infrastructure framework). Right now, our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer.

Leadership experience is essential as well as a relevant degree, however we are open to discussions with those holding equivalent MEP design & construction experience, authority, and qualifications.

Daily Duties of a Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Leading from the front with delivery of multi-disciplinary design for either water or/and non-infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, UK water industry standards and industry best practices
• Utilise your extensive knowledge and experience in the water sector to provide expert technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members
• Conduct thorough technical reviews of electrical designs, calculations, and specifications ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements

What you ll need to succeed as a Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Extensive experience working in the UK water sector, including hands-on experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure
• Knowledge of the Designer and Principal Designer duties under CDM2015 is essential
• Full UK driving licence
