Lead Systems Engineer for a permanent role within an engineering company in Clevedon, BS21. This is a new role due to a period of growth within the company and will have responsibility for leading, empowering and motivating a growing team of Systems Engineers for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Up to £58,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Monday – Friday - Flexible start/finish times

About the role
- Concept to customer commissioning and field trials
- The application of best-practice engineering ensure on time delivery, within strategic operational budget and to specification
- Work at the core of our engineering and product development teams using Systems Engineering tools and methods to bring clarity from ambiguity
- Translate product visions into clear and concise requirements using Systems Engineering process such as Use Cases, Context Diagrams, Architectures and more
- Use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to develop Functional, Logical, and Behavioural architectures to understand the operations and flow of the System
- Lead and coach a growing core team of Systems Engineers of all levels of expertise to continue their development towards being a Lead SE themselves.
The right candidate
- Systems Engineering Degree, or demonstrable equivalent
- More than 5 years’ experience of practical application of best-practice Systems Engineering in a relatable engineering industry
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills at multiple organisational levels and able to collaborate across multiple cross functional teams
- High level of integrity and accountability with a results-driven mindset, able to set the standard, and hold people accountable to deliver
- Experience of effectively coaching others
