Our 1:1 Teaching Assistants play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant doesn t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 or equivalent
• Primary School experience in the UK
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
