Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working with an exclusive client located in Birmingham, currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Assistant to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities and contribute to company growth.
- Demonstrate initiative in managing daily tasks and solving problems.
- Perform reconciliations, including commission calculations.
- Manage the purchase ledger efficiently.
- Raise and process sales invoices accurately.
- Conduct balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and organized bookkeeping records.
- Handle credit control with confidence and ensure timely payments.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience
- AAT qualified, part qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount in this role
- Knowledge/experience of Xero would be advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
