Maintenance Engineer
C&N Recruitment are currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer for a 4 grade 2 listed hotel based just outside of Milton Keynes. This is a stunning location to work, the hotel boasts various restaurants, spa, holds conferences and weddings. Stunning location.
The Role:
- Carry out day to day repairs within the hotel.
- Run and record schedules as a part of the maintenance team.
- Complete small projects work and make reactive repairs to keep hotel running smoothly.
- General painting and decorating around the hotel.
- Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns.
- Respond to all building related issues.
- Deal with guest related concerns.
- Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard taking full responsibility for all worked carried out.
- Laise with relevant departments involved in works.
- Keep all disturbances to guest to a minimum.
- Report any issues to the Head of Department.
- This position does include weekend work (two Saturdays or Sundays per month) Working two days at the weekend over a month.
Person specification
- Experience of working in a hotel environment
- Plumbing experience
- Electrical experience
- Aware of health and safety
- Flexible.
- Team player.
- Calm and self-motivated.
