Sustainable polymer science, engineering and processing;

Digital chemistry;

  • Sustainable manufacturing, including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
  • You will be expected to establish and pursue an independent programme of research within the theme of sustainable chemical technologies (further details here).

This will include publishing in high-quality journals and securing external research funding.

As a Research Fellow you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the following core objectives of the Institute, by helping to:

  • Establish a collegiate research culture, with a thriving, inclusive and connected research environment.
  • Foster inter-disciplinary groups to establish cross-theme working.

Excellent technical, organisational and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment.

Interaction with a range of academic, policy and industrial partners will be expected.
