Our Client is a market leader in the lifting industry, as part of their expansion plans they are recruiting a Sales Manager to develop existing accounts and win new business across the country.
This will be a home based role with frequent travel throughout the country.
The Role
- Development of existing accounts while proactively seeking new customers and markets.
- Establishing and developing customer relationships with a view of maximizing sales targets while delivering a high-quality sales service.
- Find new opportunities in Marine and Industry business, following project opportunities from announcement to completion.
- Acquiring orders from existing and new customers in accordance with agreed sales targets.
- Identifying potential/new customers and developing relationships in line with company strategy to maximize sales potential
- Issuing offers and negotiating contracts
- Drawing up an annual plan for marketing and sales for your customers, product group and services with concrete objectives and activities
Requirements
- Experience of selling technical products in to industrial, machinery or marine markets would be an advantage
- An excellent communicator of technical concepts, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about developing and maintaining customer relationships and have a results oriented mindset.
- A flexible approach to sales and adaptable negotiation techniques.
- Willingness to travel as part of the job
- Full UK Driving licence
