Structural CAD Technician

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for skilled CAD Technician to join a busy Structural and Civil Engineering consultancy in Plymouth. The successful candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have some experience of working on large steel and concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality drawings and calculations using applicable software
• Liaise with engineers and colleagues
• Manage workloads effectively
• Work on a variety of structures and materials
• Work independently and efficiently

Requirements

• Relevant Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering
• Competency using AutoCAD and Revit
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with large steel and concrete structures
• Excellent writing, communication and IT skills
