Parcel delivery driver

Job description: Parcel/Postal delivery driver ASAP START
 
 
Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for Parcel/Postal Delivery Drivers to work out of their Depot in Stafford.

 
For this Parcel/Postal Delivery Driver role you will be responsible: 

 
You'll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the parcels for your route, before taking out your van to complete your round. 
 
You'll each be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and the round will take around 6 hours to complete. 
 
The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next.

 
For this Parcel/Postal Delivery Role, you will need: 
 
Full UK licence 
 
No more than 6 points

Location: Stafford, Staffordshire 
 
Contract: Temporary 
 
Hours: 30 hours per week 
 
Shift 13:30-19:30 minimum 6-hour shifts. Working Monday to Saturday. You must available to work Saturdays. 
 
Hourly Rate: £13.37PH
