A Secondary School in Camden searching for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team for an ASAP start. This is a full-time position, supporting students to learn in an independent working environment.

Your job as a Learning Support Assistant will support students aged 11-19 in accessing a range of learning resources and information to aid their studies, as well as providing support to students with SEND.

Suitable candidates for this Learning Support Assistant position will come with a strong academic background, ideally educated to undergraduate level at a minimum. You will have a passion for education, learning and high achievement.

Full Details of this Learning Support Assistant position:

• 105 - 110 per day
• Full-time (term-time only)
• High-achieving Secondary School
• Located in the London Borough of Camden
• Play a leading role in working alongside the families of identified students to support their progress and attainment
• Supervise and provide support for student/s, including those with identified needs, either in literacy or for other subjects
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
• Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
• Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence
• ASAP start date
