We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team in a bustling stadium restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef and Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and leading the culinary team to success.
Key Objectives
- Assist the Head Chef and Exec Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations from preparation to service.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and scheduling.
- Maintain inventory and control food costs.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and development.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Handle any issues that arise and provide solutions swiftly.
Key responsibilities (KPIs)
- Ensure that a 5star E.H.O & GOLD rating DDS standard of cleanliness is maintained in all kitchen operations at all times
- Ensure that all H.A.C.C.P forms are completed weekly
- Support the achievement of budgeted food GP by ensuring stock is rotated & wastage is minimised
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-quality restaurant environment, with expertise in high volume turnover, particularly in the event industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum
Hours: 5 out of 7 days including evenings and weekends due to home match days
