As we expand our presence, we are seeking a Construction biased Recruitment Consultant to join our team and specialise in temporary placements within the white-collar sector.

As a Recruitment Consultant focusing on white-collar temporary placements, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to managing client relationships. You will work closely with clients in the construction industry to understand their staffing needs and provide them with skilled professionals for temporary roles. This role requires a combination of recruitment expertise, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities within the construction industry.
    • Understand clients' needs for temporary white-collar staff, including project managers, site supervisors, Site Managers, and other construction professionals.
    • Conduct regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction and address any staffing concerns.
    • Source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks.
    • Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure they meet client requirements.
    • Manage the candidate onboarding process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for temporary roles, from initial client briefings to candidate placement and contract management.
    • Ensure all temporary workers are fully compliant with legal and company policies (e.g., Right to Work, health and safety regulations).
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities by networking within the construction sector.
    • Build a pipeline of prospective clients and create tailored recruitment solutions to meet their temporary staffing needs.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping for candidates and clients in compliance with company standards and regulations.
    • Prepare and manage contracts for temporary staff placements.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally 2 years experience within the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Demonstrable success in business development and the ability to generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
