Join a dynamic energy provider dedicated to sustainable solutions in the UK. We are looking for a creative Social Media Executive.
Initially it will be a three-month contract but there is potential for it to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with two days a week being based in their London office. It is a full-time role, 40 hours per week. If this role feels right, send us your CV.
Accountabilities:
Lead the execution of the content calendar across all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).
Collaborate closely with various departments to identify opportunities for optimizing customer acquisition, engagement, and service demand.
Develop and plan innovative, category-leading content with a focus on achieving creative excellence.
Uphold and refine the brand's tone of voice, ensuring its style drives engagement and standout in the category through expert craftsmanship.
Write social media copy and work alongside the in-house creative team to align image and video content.
Manage publishing schedules and employ organic strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
Enhance engagement by actively managing the online community in partnership with Consumer Service teams.
Continuously seek optimization opportunities through reporting and A/B testing.
Lead the creation of reactive content to drive positive disruption on social channels.
Oversee scheduling, publishing, and curation of content across all platforms.
Engage with other trusted channels to expand reach and improve brand sentiment.
Prepare detailed monthly performance reports with analysis and actionable recommendations for all channels.
Monitor social media channels
Knowledge and Skills:
Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive social media campaigns, from strategy through to implementation
Strong analytical skills
Customer-focused approach to social media engagement
Demonstrated success in growing social media channels and fostering active community engagement
Proficient in reporting on key social media performance indicators (KPIs)
Extensive experience in both long-form and short-form copywriting
Skilled in tailoring copy to align with various brands and diverse target audiences
Experience in both agency and in-house settings
Expertise in social media specifications, formats, and compliance with platform regulations
Advanced knowledge of social media management and reporting tools, particularly Hootsuite
Experience managing influencer relationships is highly desirable
Strong creative abilities with a proven track record in brand development
Consistent implementation of brand tone of voice (TOV) across all communications
Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Keen attention to detail, with excellent command of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and the nuances between British and American English
Proven expertise across various social platforms including Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and Spotify
Strong experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Experience with start-up brands and/or sub-brands is a plus
Ability to leverage data for optimizing business opportunities is an advantage
B2B experience is beneficial
