Primary Supply Teaching Job in Lambeth

Salary: 150- 180 per day based on experience
Contract: Day to Day/Fixed Term (3/4 days a week)

Your new Primary School
One of our esteemed partner schools, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a supportive learning environment, is seeking an exceptional Supply Teacher to join their team. This school is celebrated for its innovative teaching methods, inclusive community, and dedication to student success.
This role offers the flexibility to cover classes 3 to 4 days a week, with the option to work either full-time or part-time. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the autonomy to choose your preferred working days and decide whether you would like to receive morning calls or be pre-booked in advance. This position is open to both qualified teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
As a Supply Teacher you will have good knowledge of the primary curriculum. You will need to cover classes delivering planned lessons set by the class teacher or sometimes your own lessons for unplanned sick cover.
Some of your other duties will include:
Managing behaviour in the classroom
Becoming familiar and acting on school policies and procedures
Marking all work at the end of each lesson
Leaving a handover for the class teacher

What you will need to succeed
You will need to hold QTS and a PGCE
Experience working within a Primary classroom
Good behaviour management and organisational skills
You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
