Area Sales Manager to join their successful team, covering the Shrewsbury and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader and drive sales within a high-growth, high-demand sector.
The Role As an Area Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to grow and maintain the company's market share within the Shrewsbury area. You ll be building relationships with new and existing clients, selling a range of powered access products and services. You will also:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Nurture relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Present product demonstrations and offer tailored access solutions to meet client needs.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and technical support, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and the latest product innovations.
The Person We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in sales, ideally within the powered access or related industry. You should be a self-starter with strong negotiation skills and a passion for exceeding targets.
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in the powered access or plant hire sector.
- A good understanding of the market and its customer base around the Shrewsbury and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Full UK driving license.
