Learner Recruitment Officer

About the Role
We are looking for a driven and target-oriented Learner Recruitment Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and enrolling learners onto pre-apprenticeship training courses, and matching them with apprenticeship opportunities. You will work closely with learners and employers to ensure a seamless transition to pre-apprenticeship training or apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Recruitment: Engaging with key stakeholders and referral partners to find potential learners to enrol onto a pre- apprenticeship programme which will make them ready to undertake an apprenticeship.
• Enrolment and Matching: Enrol learners onto Path2 pre-apprenticeship programmes and match them with suitable apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
• Key stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and apprenticeship providers to generate apprenticeship vacancies and promote the benefits of hiring learners from the Path2 programme.
• Short Course Enrolment: Encourage learners to participate in short courses to enhance their skills and increase their employability.
• Sales and Conversion: Convert leads into enrolments by effectively selling the benefits of pre-apprenticeship programmes.
• Travel: Meet with learners, employers, and apprenticeship advisors within the West Midlands as required to facilitate successful placements.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a learner engagement or recruitment role, particularly in learner recruitment, employability, or apprenticeship sectors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with learners, employers, and training providers.
• Experience in generating apprenticeship or employment vacancies and working to recruitment targets.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and convert leads into successful enrolments.
• Willingness to travel within the West Midlands as needed.
