This fantastic behaviour mentor vacancy is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is looking to work 1:1 with pupils and has experience working with challenging behaviour or additional needs. We are looking for an exceptional behaviour mentor to work at a supportive primary school near Headingley, Leeds.

Behaviour Mentor responsibilities:

You will be required to provide valuable 1-1 support for children across KS2 with additional needs and occasional, challenging behaviour. You will be expected to support the teaching and learning of this pupil academically and most importantly help manage their social and behavioural difficulties. You must follow the school s policies and procedures. This position is to commence ASAP and will be a long-term position. The pupils have a range of needs, including Autism/ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Dysregulation.

Full and part time hours will be considered for this role so there is great flexibility. We are predominantly looking for someone with the right attitude and experience!

To be considered for the Behaviour Mentor role you should have:

• A resilient, confident and supportive attitude.
• A firm but fair approach.
• The ability to quickly build positive and nurturing relationships with staff, students and parents.
• Strong and effective behaviour management.
• Experience of working in schools and/or experience working alongside children with challenging behaviour or additional needs i.e. SEND.

Behaviour Mentor Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive rates of pay between £96 £106 per day.
