The Managing Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
- Successfully managing clients and projects across a variety of sectors, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Providing broad technical and strategic health and safety (H&S) services, including risk management systems and both strategic and operational H&S services.
- Offering H&S advice and support across various client business sectors.
- Leading and supporting business development initiatives, including creating service line strategies and client care programs.
- Overseeing the planning and management of projects, teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Managing and mentoring H&S consultant teams, fostering professional growth, and ensuring high performance.
The Managing Health and Safety Consultant will have:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the H&S industry, with significant experience in consulting and managing diverse projects.
- An appropriate degree (or equivalent) in H&S management or a related field.
- IOSH Chartership or another senior accreditation with a recognised H&S professional institution.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering technical and strategic H&S services, managing risk management systems, and providing advisory support.
- Proven track record in business development, including wiritng proposals, service line strategies and client care initiatives.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing consultant teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to author high-quality proposals and deliver client presentations.
