SEN Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth.
• Engage with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and needs.

Qualifications:

• A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) and/or a special education qualification.
• Strong understanding of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to individual student needs.
