Quantity Surveyor

We are looking to procure and experienced "Quantity Surveyor" to finish of a £5m Civil Engineering Highways scheme outside Bath.

The project (NEC 4) has 6-9 months left to run and involves work to stabilise a large embankment along a carriageway. Key construction elements include Piling, Earthworks, RC Refurbishment, Rock netting, Road reconstruction and Heavy Structures.

With the support of an AQS you will be responsible for bringing the project to final account. A challenging and political scheme, the successful "Quantity Surveyor" will help liaise with the client and local residents to ensure a successful finish for all stakeholders.

The role is hybrid and will require 3 days a week on the project and 2 working from home. The assignment has been deemed outside of IR35 and will run for 6-9 months.

We are looking for a "Quantity Surveyor" with the following skills and experience:

• Experience working within heavy civil engineering and structures projects - think Highways structures, Water treatment, Environment Agency style projects.
• NEC proficient
• Strong mediator - able to engage multiple stakeholders and steer positive conclusions
• Experience of final accounts
