Role Overview:

Based at our brand Flexeserve, at the Hinckley site in Leicestershire, you will play a pivotal role in the Operations department and be an integral part of a dynamic team that value teamwork and supports each other towards a common goal. Here you will be our go to person for focusing on electrical systems and utilising your knowledge and ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently to minimise downtime.

  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and motors.
  • Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards or deficiencies and address them promptly.
  • Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems and equipment as needed to meet operational requirements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment documentation.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate repairs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical maintenance.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and collaborate effectively in a cross functional team
  • Apprentice Trained or equivalent in an engineering related discipline
  • Strong desire to improve site efficiency
