CONSTRUCTION INSURANCE BROKER

Clark James Insurance Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Handler in a busy Construction Broking Team based in the Essex area, to apply for this you MUST have Construction Insurance experience please.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding the client's business and risk profiles
• Dealing with a good volume of renewals and proactively ensuring a high retention level
• Communicating client's needs to underwriters
• Building a relationship with clients and giving prompt attention to their requests
• Discussing what their future insurance needs might be and maintaining contact with them
• Broking risks

Essential Skills and Experience Required

• Thorough knowledge of construction insurance and other classes of commercial insurance.
• Knowledge of a variety of cover placement procedures, methods and techniques required. Knowledge of the insurance markets available.
• A thorough understanding of FCA regulations and guidelines as applied to the type of client being dealt with.

Salary rewarded would be dependent upon ability and experience but will be highly competitive plus benefits and bonuses
