Diagnostic Imaging Field Service Engineer

Salary: £45,000 + £6600 car allowance
Location: Based in Hertfordshire with UK-wide travel

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Imaging Field Service Engineer to maintain and service X-ray and Ultrasound systems across multiple vendors. Based in Hertfordshire, this role involves both field visits and telephone support, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance while upholding high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair X-ray and Ultrasound equipment to maximise uptime.
• Provide on-site and remote support across the UK.
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain clear communication.
• Complete service documentation and manage stock.
• Support other engineering teams when needed and adhere to health and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities:

• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to meet repair time and uptime targets.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Meet KPIs and maintain accurate records.
• Stay up to date with training on new technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• HNC/D or equivalent in Electronics (essential).
• X-ray or Ultrasound manufacturer training (essential).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience with X-ray and Ultrasound equipment in healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and relevant OEM training.
