Quantity Surveyor - Civils - Essex

A well-established regional civil engineering contractor covering Essex / Hertfordshire / East Anglia carrying out civil engineering, highways, soft & hard landscaping, and public realm schemes.

Role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Essex

Salary / Package: Up to £65,000 (DOE) plus car / car allowance, bonus scheme.

Duties for the Quantity Surveyor:

• Procurement
• Measurement
• Variations
• Monthly CVR's
• Change Control
• Client Liaison
• Payments
• Final accounts
• Site Meetings

Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor:

• A minimum of 4-5 years experience ideally with a regional civils / main contractor.
• Working knowledge of NEC/ JCT forms of contract.
• Previous experience in civil engineering (highways, hard & soft landscaping, drainage, groundworks, public realm).
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Conversant with MS Office packages
• Degree qualified /undertaking HNC or BSc in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management would be advantageous.
