ROLE PROFILE:

• Assist with all the health and safety policies
• Carry out, monitor and implement risk assessments
• Consider how to reduce possible risks
• Assist in writing procedures that identify and consider hazards
• Support with data and analysis
• Assist in investigating health and safety incidents, compiling reports, and making recommendations
• Carry out regular safety audits and inspections
• Maintain health and safety compliance and audit results
• Attend H&S meetings, taking minutes
• Keep up to date with new legislation
• Advise employees on a range of specialist areas, such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, safeguarding machinery, etc

PERSON PROFILE:

• Seeking someone with at least one years work experience within H&S
• NEBOSH qualified in Occupational Health & Safety
• Excellent communication skills and able to talk to people at all levels
• Must be self-motivated
• Need someone with a positive can-do" attitude
• Work on your own initiative
• Possess strong planning, time management and organisational skills
• Able to multi-task
• A team player

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Strong attention to detail

DESIRED CRITERIA:

• Experience of working in a manufacturing or construction industry
