Children Registered Manager
£45000-£50000 dependant on experience and qualifications
Our client is thrilled to announce the establishment of two new two- bedded homes specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Children's Registered Manager to lead the way!
As the Children s Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for children. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the homes, manage a dedicated team of support staff and foster positive relationships with children, families and professionals. Your leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences and outcomes for the children in our care.
Requirements:
- Relevant social care qualification ideally Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Within the last five years, you have worked for at least two years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- You have worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
- OFSTED registration.
- Proven experience managing EBD homes or similar settings.
- Previously been a manager or a deputy looking to step up.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including OFSTED standards and legislation relating to children s care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the children s residential home in accordance with the standards set up by OFSTED.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and welfare for all children.
- To foster a positive working environment, through training and supervision. To inspire, lead and manage a team of staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to promote professional development and to ensure the highest level of care is provided for our children.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the children.
- To work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals for comprehensive care.
- Maintain all necessary records and documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and take action to achieve continuous improvement.
- Attend regular meetings and always represent the organisation.
