Role Overview:
As the Financial Promotions Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance and performance of all financial promotions within Money Wellness. You will document and report on findings, ensuring that all customer communications adhere to FCA, ASA, and other regulatory standards. This role balances a commercial focus with the critical need for regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Oversight: Manage and report on the compliance of financial promotions, documenting findings and providing actionable insights.
- Content Solutions: Develop commercially focused alternatives to content challenges while ensuring regulatory adherence.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to create compliant customer communications and financial promotions.
- Regulatory Review: Review all advertising and marketing materials to identify and resolve compliance issues, ensuring alignment with legal standards.
- Process Implementation: Design and implement processes to guarantee that all communications comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Education and Training: Provide training to team members on applicable policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to approve high-quality customer communications that meet regulatory requirements.
- Final Sign-off: Manage the final approval process for all customer communications, confirming that all financial promotions adhere to regulations.
- Emerging Issues: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and collaborate with the Legal Department to address emerging compliance issues.
- Reporting: Contribute to weekly marketing reports with compliance updates, challenges, opportunities, and completed work.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of regulatory experience related to financial promotions and advertising.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of FCA and other regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.
- Education: A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong oral and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Experience in producing reports for management.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and techniques is a plus
