School Administrator - Dalmeny Primary School

At Dalmeny Primary School & nursery we believe that children thrive in an environment in which they are happy, challenged and secure. We have a dedicated and supportive staff team who work very hard to provide the best opportunities for all our pupils in a safe, nurturing and happy learning environment. We are supported very well by our parents, Dalmeny Parent Forum, and we have strong links with our local community. There are around 90 children in the school, comprising of 4 classes, and the nursery class provision is 30 full time spaces.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to be a permanent part of our school team.

The work pattern will be Monday – Thursday 08.30 – 15.15 (which includes 15 minute and 30 minute unpaid break) and Friday 08.30 – 12.45 (which includes a 15 minute unpaid break).

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Salary: £24,064 - £26,468 (pro-rata for part time and sessional)

Hours: 28 per week, 40 weeks sessional
